MUDr. Július Gažovič

After graduating from the Medical Faculty of Hygiene at Charles University in Prague, I gained 15 years of experience in the field of general and municipal hygiene, working at the District Hygiene Station in Poprad. When I left OHS Poprad I changed different jobs. After returning to the health sector I worked at the Regional Office of Public Health in Prievidza in the Department of Occupational Medicine. After the enactment of the establishment of occupational health services I gradually worked in different companies with this field.

Since 2019, I have been involved in the operation of the PZS department at JKBOZ s.r.o., where I am constantly using my lifelong experience. Many years of experience and professional expertise allow me to pass on my knowledge to younger colleagues. I still like to educate myself and learn new things, especially in the field of occupational medicine. Personally, I probably find the work of a first aid instructor the most fulfilling, because I consider it important and it inspires me to further my education.

In my free time I try to keep fit by regular active movement. I like to read and spend time with my female dog Zorka adopted from the shelter.
