Therefore, it is crucial in the first place to understand the dangers connected with every human activity, threats and risks arising therefrom not only for the persons involved, but also for the entire mankind. 

People often realise the risks that threaten their lives, health and property only if they become directly involved in accidents, natural disasters or catastrophes. The consequences of these extraordinary events confirm that the ignorance of appropriate reaction on the situation occurred or its underestimating as well as panicking multiply loss of lives and increase the number of threats to health of people.

Civil protection is a system of tasks and measures focused on the protection of life, health and property, comprising mostly the analysis of a potential threat and in adopting measures to decrease the risk of threat, as well as on the determination of procedures and activities in eliminating the consequences of extraordinary events.

Within the scope stipulated by Act of the National Council of the Slovak Republic No. 42/1994 Coll. on civil protection of the population, the mission of civil protection is to protect the life, health and property and to create conditions for survival in case of extraordinary events and during the declared state of emergency.

• processing of statutory documentation:

• plans of protection of employees and persons taken into care,
• accident plans,
• evacuation plans,
• shelter plans,

other required documentation in accordance with the spatial analysis of potential threat risks
in accordance with legislative requirements,further consulting and cooperation in communication with the relevant state supervisory authorities.
